Nicolas Tye has become the Chairman for the RIBA East Region!

Nicolas Tye has become the Chairman for the RIBA East Region which is a great honour!

‘I am delighted to be taking over as Chairman for the RIBA East region from the beginning of the month and look forward to my two years ahead. Since training at North London University and UCL and working with a medium-sized commercial London practice some 15 years ago, I then moved to rural Bedfordshire.

Initially, I worked as a sole-practioner, developing to the present day where I run Tye Architects, a Chartered Practice with a team of 15.

I therefore understand the pressures associated with both working on my own and managing a growing medium size practice, and am keen to use this knowledge to inform the work of the RIBA.’
