A rural replacement dwelling located in an area of panoramic views of the Aylesbury Vale near to Tring.

Located on the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire borders this new build house replaced an existing bungalow. As an equestrian centre, the site was flat with a tree procession driveway which created a visual high point to the site.

The house would mimic this, lifting up finish the edge of the trees to provide a statuesque building in this low lying land. Simple construction and materials were adopted with brick and aluminium framed windows to the outside.

A central open spine to the building greets you at the entrance point and to the right is home and living and to the left it work and equestrian activities. The spaces inside are generous, light filled and immediately connecting to the seasonal change of the picturesque external views.
