Hertsmere House - Hertfordshire
This semi ancient woodland area located to the north of London provided an existing backdrop to our paragraph 79 house.
Sited in a clearing on the western section of the site this innovative and outstanding piece of architecture would mimic, integrate and respond to the wonders of the woodland.
By taking the nodes and points of the wood and its general and cell like structure allowed us to innovatively extend this matrix to form the frame for our new solution.
By integrating and flowing the landscape towards the budding and allow the building to three dimensionally integrate to the landscape allowed for this innovative solution.
