This semi ancient woodland area located to the north of London provided an existing backdrop to our Paragraph 880 house.

Sited in a clearing on the western section of the site, this innovative and outstanding piece of architecture would mimic, integrate and respond to the wonders of the woodland.

By taking the nodes and points of the wood and its general and cell-like structure we were able to extend this matrix to form the innovative frame for our new solution.

Encouraging the flow of the landscape towards the building and allowing the building to integrate three-dimensionally into the landscape allowed for this innovative solution.
